Rules, Rules, Rules. Its what keeps NJROTC running. Without them, our unit would suck and alot of problems will come up.
Below are the rules and regulations of NJROTC. Its okay if you forget what they, I myself sometimes forget some of them. Thats why you should check this site.
Rules inside the Class room
- Absolutely NO DRINKING and NO EATING!!!
- NO CHEWING GUM EVER!!!
- NO ELECTRONICS are to be used when in NJROTC spaces and the NJROTC Class. With the exception of during lunch and afterschool.
- When someone is talking in front of the class, Please listen to them. How would you feel if you were trying to talk and no one listened?
- Whenever Commander and/or PH is talking, simply just shut your mouth. Its that easy.
- Whenever I yell/give you guys discipline, don't take it personal, Im just trying to help you guys.
- Do not to sit on the desks, I know your used to sitting on desks but no one wants to use a table where someone's @$$ was rubbing on it.
Rules towards other Cadets
- Always reply to Cadets with authority(Guide, MPO, PLATOON LEADERS, Staff, PH, and Commander.) with "Yes, Sir/Ma'am."
- When you are in the NJROTC uniform, always salute any officers. *Hint in case you have not noticed, the cadets with the Gold Bars on their collars and Gold band on their combo Covers.
- Respect others and others will Respect you.
- If you see another Cadet doing something wrong, please tell them immediately. Don't wait for PH or Commander to punish them.
Rules of the Uniform
- Wear the Uniform on uniform days, its only once a week.
- Don't wait until the night before Uniform day and ask "Where did I put my pants??" Prepare at least 4 days ahead of time. I will not except "Oh, I couldnt find my pants or w/e uniform device."
- Listening to Ipod's, Zunes, CD players, or w/e listening device you have are prohibited from being used.
- Dont wear any jewelry like Diamond earings for males. if you will wear them, must be these colors only. Black, White, Silver, Navy Blue, or Gray. Other colors like Pink or bright yellow don't look nice on the uniform.
- NEVER CHANGE OUT UNTIL SCHOOL ENDS! Unless given the authority from PH or Commander.
- For Males: You can loosen you Neck Tie but cannot take it off.
You can roll up your sleeves, but you must roll them back down once you leave a classroom.
- If an officer is within 30 feet from where you are, don't run because they can see you and that just get me in trouble.
Salute them when your at least 10 feet from each other.
- Remember, people are always watching you. So behave appropriately because you represent Charlie Platoon
